Meet Lauren

Lauren began in neonatal nursing, spending 11 years working intimately with exhausted, anxious parents and the fragile lives they had brought into the world. She learned early that the best nursing reaches beyond the clinical. It reconnects people to what matters most.

A strong calling eventually pulled her to palliative care. She walked into McCulloch House at Monash Medical Centre and felt she had arrived home. What followed were years of profound learning, witnessing the pivotal moment when carers had simply reached their end, and recognising that the level of support in the home was everything.

I could see that the level of support in the home determined the length and sustainability of what was sometimes a marathon journey.

After co-managing Rosehaven, a community-run hospice on Lake Eildon, and completing her formal Anthroposophical nursing training in New Zealand, Lauren founded Fourfold to bring together everything she has learned: the clinical mastery, the human warmth, and the whole-person philosophy.

Fourfold is the answer to a question families have been asking for years, and couldn’t find.
